The biggest foreign migration to the South American nation, the Arabs, entered by Barranquilla since the end of the 19th century. Barranquilla is the first international sea port of Colombia and it is a city of opportunities and growing economy for its position. It is a city build by migrants, especially Arabs, Italians, Spaniards and Chinese, a fact that can be demostrated for the diversity of its people and the openess of their character.
